A chance to make a difference…

I have come across an opportunity for people within the wider Bristol region to make a difference to the healthcare system that they may encounter. A programme, run by Bristol Community Health, University Bristol Hospitals Trust (i.e. BRI, St Michaels, etc) and North Bristol Trust (i.e. Southmead Hospital) is asking for members of the community to stand as volunteers on a panel designed to make community voices heard. The application form is a bit of a nightmare, as it is asking about what people can contribute, what they want to take away from this programme etc, but please don’t let it put you off. This is a chance for us to make a difference to the services which so many of us experience on a regular basis. If you are interested, please follow this link, where you will find more information about the programme, as well as the application forms etc. The deadline to apply is 23rd October, so we don’t have long, but please, see if this is something that you might be able to consider.
